Fee Collection Rules

Tuition fees will be collected at the time of admission and within a period of seven consecutive working days beginning from the date of reopening of the college for senior classes. In the case of students of junior classes, the same will be collected on the date of admission. Subsequent installments will be collected on or before the 7th consecutive working day of the month concerned. The Principal reserves the right to fix the due date for collection of fees for the various classes.

If any student fails to pay the fees on the due date, he/she shall be liable to pay a fine of Rs. 5/- along with the fees on or before the 10th day. If the due date of the 10th day happens to be a holiday, the next working day will be counted as the 10th day. If the fine of Rs. 5/- is not paid along with the fees on the date fixed, an additional fine of Rs. 10/- will have to be paid. Rs. 50/- will be imposed as re-admission fees from those who fail to remit the tuition fees even after the permitted date of remittance of fees with fine.

If the fees and fines of the installment are not paid on or before the last opportunity given for payment of that installment, the name of the student will be removed from the rolls of the College with effect from the date following the expiry of this period, and the student will not get the benefit of attendance also from the date of removal from the rolls of the college. If the student is to be readmitted, he/she has to apply for special permission of the Principal.
Fee Concession

Applicants belonging to the SC/ST/OBC, Kudumbis, and Christian converts from Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes who are bonafide subjects of Kerala State are eligible for full concession, stipend, and lump sum grant for the purchase of books and dress. They will have to produce at the time of admission a Certificate of Nativity and Certificate of Community, if the community is not shown in the S.S.C/S.S.L.C. book.

Applicants belonging to Backward and Forward Communities who are bonafide subjects of the Kerala State are eligible for full fee concession if the annual income of their families does not exceed Rupees one lakh.

Exemption from the payment of tuition fees is granted to the Children/Grand Children of Political Sufferers if the income does not exceed Rs. 1,00,000 per annum.
Certificates Required for Fee Concession

Applicants belonging to the SC/ST, Kudumbi, and Christian Converts from SC/ST should produce an income certificate and Community Certificate in original.

OBC students must produce an income certificate issued by the village officer and countersigned by the Local Panchayat President/Chairman of Municipality/Mayor of the Corporation/Honorary Magistrate/M.L.A. or M.P. in the prescribed form.

The income of both the parents must be shown in the form, and a certificate of income of the guardian will be accepted only in the case of orphans or in other exceptional cases.

Community and Nativity Certificates in the prescribed form have to be submitted within 15 days from the commencement of class; if this has not been done, fees will have to be paid.

Applicants who do not produce the necessary certificates at the time of admission will not be admitted unless they pay the prescribed fees.

In the case of applicants whose parents died in harness while in the State Government Service, harness fee concession will be granted on production of necessary documents, provided the income of the guardian does not exceed Rs. 4000/- per annum.
