Admission

Admission Guidelines

  1. Students are usually admitted only at the beginning of the first year of the Degree and Post Graduate Courses.
  2. Candidates who have passed the +2 or equivalent examinations, with eligibility for admission to a course of study in the University are admitted to the Degree Course.
  3. Candidates who have passed the respective Degree examinations namely B.A., B.Com., and B.Sc. are admitted to the respective Post Graduate Courses.
  4. Candidates for UG programme shall not exceed 21 years of age at the time of admission.
  5. Sree Narayana College, Nattika is affiliated to the University of Calicut. Admission to all the courses, both UG and PG, are done through the Common Admission Programme of University of Calicut known as Single Window System (SWS) for admission in UG and PG Programmes. The students who seek admission to the programmes offered by our college should apply online through the University website - www.universityofcalicut.info or www.cuonline.ac.in.
    • A Nodal Centre is functioning at Sree Narayana College, Nattika to provide assistance to students and the University.
    • The students can do registration, editing, re-arrangement of options, cancellation of higher options, etc., through the Nodal Centres.
    • The students can also utilise the Nodal Centres for clearing doubts and clarification regarding the Centralised Admission Process (CAP).
  6. Documents required at the time of interview:
    • Original Mark list
    • Transfer Certificate
    • Conduct Certificate
    • For candidates from other universities/boards:
      • Migration Certificate
      • Qualifying Certificate
      • Eligibility Certificate from the University of Calicut
  7. No candidate shall be enrolled to attend any classes until the prescribed fees are paid in full.
  8. Any candidate who is found to have obtained admission by false representation will be summarily dismissed and will forfeit whatever fees he/she has paid.
  9. A student applying for Transfer Certificate, Conduct Certificate, etc., should have paid all fees and dues, if any.
    • Medical inspection will be conducted and Conduct Certificates will normally be issued free of charge within three months of completion of the course of study at the college.
    • Late application for T.C. must be accompanied by a fine of Rs. 100/-.
    • A fee of Rs. 50/- will be levied for the issue of duplicate T.C. However, it will be issued only on the basis of a Certificate from a First Class Magistrate to the effect that the original is lost irrecoverably.
  10. Immediately after the interview, the candidate, if selected, will be provisionally enrolled on payment of the first installment of fees and the submission of the certificates.
  11. Caution Deposit will be refunded only at the end of the course after clearing the dues, if any.
